I am a woman with a multitude of ventures; I am an editor, creative writer, owner and founder of Oaktree Editing Services, blogger, photographer, graphic designer, an ordained minister of the Interconnection Fellowship, actor, singer, dancer, an author, soon-to-be-teacher of my own online creative writing school "Et Calamum", the business owner and founder of Severn Empire, LLC and its daughter business, Celebrate Nature—my newest entrepreneurial baby.
It might sound like a lot, but make no mistake, I dedicate myself wholly to each and every one of my ventures. I don't ever feel like I'm splitting time; I'm simply enjoying life to its fullest. Each of my passions are my oxygen, especially where writing and editing are concerned, and being creative is where I thrive.
For all the projects I involve myself with, never once did I think I would need to have a blog for me as my own person. Isn't that what Twitter, Insta and Facebook are for? But after several unsuccessful attempts to come up with a business card, unable to decide what to put on that card, or what to limit myself to, I realized part of my problem was I don't have my own profile dedicated just to me and my projects. I have my editing and writing blog, and my own digital author portfolio, but how would I justify posting my most beloved photos or digital designs on those sites? I could have renamed it, but that option didn't sit well with me.
This site is my goal to show the world exactly what I'm capable of, compiling all my achievements—my art, my passions, my work—into one easy-to-access place.
